Located in a heavily wooded area nestled between Gladwyne and the Schuylkill River sits this modern addition to a historic clapboard colonial house. The gracious main living space overlooks a babbling brook. The site presented many challenges including the house’s proximity to the road, historic house’s low ceiling and steep slopes. Carl Emberger, Jr. worked through many of the plans and details with GYA Architects.
