Join us for a week of architectural exploration through imagination, creation, drawing, building, and more. Campers will benefit from instruction with Carl Emberger, Principal of Canary Architecture.
Campers will focus on urban architecture in week one. A sketching field trip will take campers to 30th Street Station via Septa. Lunch will be enjoyed at Cira Green – Philly’s “Park in the Sky.” The week will culminate in design and construction of urban architecture inspired minigolf course holes.
Campers will focus on rural architecture in week two. A sketching field trip will take campers to Strawflower Farm where campers will eat lunch amongst flower and berry fields and a few friendly alpacas, goats and chickens. The week will culminate in design and construction of rural architecture inspired minigolf course holes.
All materials for the week will be provided and campers will take a field trip. Campers will also receive a t-shirt, sketch book, and pencils. Campers will work collaboratively, problem solve, explore and model ideas digitally and with a variety of materials minigolf course holes.
Hours: 10 am – 3:30 pm (Before and after care available for additional fee)
Location: 753 Bradford Terrace, Springfield
Fee: $385 for the week ($100 deposit due at registration. Sibling discount available.)
